La Floraison

Through my work, I communicate my Afro-Indigenous identity and the duality of my cultures. My artwork mostly focuses on representation, education, and acknowledgment of afro indigenous, Inuit and black identities, using mixed media to convey these themes. I also explore Inuit mythology in my artwork—sometimes creating my own, and sometimes following traditional Inuit stories. Whether creating new myths or drawing on traditional Inuit mythology, I enjoy balancing serious representation with the playful exploration of my heritage, blending tradition with imagination.
